God has said, “...man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD." (Deuteronomy 8.3, ESV). We who believe in God know the truth of this: we must spend time in the Scriptures. At Cornerstone, we love to do this together as often as possible. Therefore, we provide a variety of studies at various times with different formats so that all might benefit and be fed.
Fellowship Bible Study––
The people of Cornerstone love to fellowship together – over food, coffee, and most importantly, around the Word of God. With this in mind, we offer this gathering on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month. Following our morning worship service, we partake in a meal together (simple fare, but filling) and then feast upon the Word together. At present, we’re in the book of 1 Samuel, learning how God calls people to Himself, raises up godly leaders to serve Him and His people, as well as acquiring skills in the methods of studying the Bible.
We also offer two studies for women, which meet at two different times:
• Wednesday afternoon, every other week – 1–2.30 PM
• Sunday evenings (2nd & 4th Sundays of each month) – 5.30 –7.00 PM
A new Men’s Bible Study group is meeting on Thursday mornings at 6.30 AM. This gets everyone up and running and still off to work by 7.30 AM.
If you’d like more information about any of these studies, just call the church or drop us an email.
